WHO ARE WE?
WHAT IS EPIC?
- Epic Stands for "Everyone Perfect in Christ!" Our goal is for everyone to be made right by Jesus. Epic is our youth group for students in 7-12th grade.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
- The mission is to build up our youth and bring them together to develop lasting friendships and a relationship with Jesus Christ. We want YOUR youth to feel like they belong somewhere in the family of God.
OUR GOALS:
- Our aim is to cultivate meaningful friendships and mutual trust through Christ-centered fellowship, engaging activities, enriching Bible studies, and the shared joy of meals together."
WHAT WE DO:
- EPIC meets EVERY SUNDAY from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church during the school year in the OUR Basement. Parking is located in the back of Grace Church Shrewsbury.
- We always begin by having dinner together provided by someone in the church. We believe having dinner together cultivates lasting connection and relationships!
- Our teaching time consists of a group lesson, usually divided by gender. After our lesson, our youth have time to reflect on the lesson, and then meet in smaller groups to connect with our leaders.
- We always enjoy a game / fun activity at the end of the night to gain excitement for the week ahead!
- We do our best to have a service project planned for the youth every other month to put our teaching into action. The month we are not doing service projects, we put on a fun event for our kids to build connection!
- And we don't forget about our youth during the summer! We plan summer activities to keep our momentum moving forward and keep the group together. They are announced at the beginning of each summer - stay tuned!
